Key Account Manager – Modern Trade
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field.
- At least 4 years’ experience in key account management, distributor management and traditional trade.
- Good in interpersonal with strong communication and influential skills.
- Ability to plan and prioritize workload in line with business needs.
- Strong account management and relationship building skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Good understanding of financial knowledge (P & L, Budgeting)
Job Specification:
- Drive category growth by applying the approach of key account management & category management,
- Deal with buyer-center about investment of trade term and promotional budget (negotiation for medium-term & long-term),
- Manage the development of customer business strategy to be in-line with the company’s objective and channel strategy such as the category strategy and customer plan,
- Achieve the sales objective of assigned customers in terms of total value as well as developing sales fundamental, i.e., distribution, merchandising, promotion, trade activity, business review, etc., through business planning,
- Liaise with Marketing Team and Business Development Team to develop the channel strategy for Modern Trade Channel (to be in-line with company’s direction & strategy),
- Manage and control A&P and Trade Spending efficiently,
- Develop good relationship with assigned key accounts to maintain the sound business relationship via regular meeting with key customer, e.g., business plan, business review etc.,
- Manage internal control processes, e.g., sales forecast, promotion proposal & evaluation, accounting settlement, premium allocation, etc., ensuring the effective implementation of all processes and activities.
