Bangkok Ranch was established in 1984 as a pioneer in the duck meat industry in Thailand. Today, the company has developed into a Global Duck Company, and is listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (under the symbol RANCH).  

Bangkok Ranch strategy is to provide superior returns to its shareholders by producing superior quality products and distributing them into current and new markets, controlling costs and acquiring new businesses; all while levering its manufacturing capabilities, global quality standards and global management practices.

Bangkok Ranch manufactures its products through its fully integrated line (from Parent Stock Breeding farm to cooked products) for sales in Thailand and export markets. Frozen and fresh products are sold in Thailand and cooked products in export markets (mainly Europe).

As part of its global strategy, Bangkok Ranch acquired Duck-To Holding (DTH) in The Netherlands , in August 2007. The major objective of the merger of the companies was to strengthen BR’s distribution network in Europe, one of its main markets. The partnership with the DTH group also broadened the product line in Europe, with the inclusion of DTH frozen raw ducks and strengthened Bangkok Ranch’s global management team. With this acquisition, and the effective merger of the DTH operations, Bangkok Ranch solidified its position as one of the largest duck companies in the world.

In March 2010, Bangkok Ranch has been successfully acquiring Cherry Valley Farms (CVF) in United Kingdom. CVF is a longstanding supplier to BR for parent stock and also operate a complimentary duck processing business in the UK.  CVF will add a strong, global duck genetics business and substantial synergies in the UK duck processing to the Group as well as further strengthening the sales network and team in the UK. 

Using modern technology with world-class hygiene and quality control standards in all of its operations, Bangkok Ranch offers a complete variety of superior quality duck products to domestic and international customers. From commercial hatching eggs and day-old ducklings to all types of frozen and chilled duck meat, including cut-up parts and whole birds; cooked and ready-to-cook food specialties as well as duck feather and down.

Apart from fresh frozen ducks and duck parts, Bangkok Ranch also produces cooked and ready-to-cook food products with duck meat as the main ingredient. These duck meat specialties are attractive in both their flavors and presentation. These products are traded under the trademarks “Dalee”, “Dalee Red” and “Duck Delight” and are widely accepted in both local and overseas markets as an image of high quality food products.

Bangkok Ranch’s high standard of quality begins with the exclusive genetic selection in the company’s own breeding farms, where parent-stock from the world’s finest breeders are maintained. The ducks produced are renowned for their tasty low-calorie meat and pure soft fluffy white feathers.
